Seeds of life

For ten years, women from the Xavante people have been collecting seeds native to the Cerrado in Brazil. They have replanted over 25 million trees in this biome. 

These women are regenerating soils depleted by intensive farming. They now also sell their native seeds, whose excellent quality is recognized by many growers.
